Missouri Revised Statutes Title XLI. Codes and Standards § 701.381. Elevator safety and inspection requirements not applicable, when

The provisions of sections 701.350 to 701.380 shall not apply to any device that is inaccessible to the public, not used to transport passengers and was built before January 1, 1940.
