Missouri Revised Statutes Title XL. Additional Executive Departments § 660.155. Grants may be made, to whom

The plan formulated by the department of social services under section 8  1 shall provide for one-time financial grants, which may be money payments or vendor payments or payments in kind, to qualified families during defined periods of emergency need. Such grants shall be made pursuant to regulations specified in the plan, which shall be in accordance with and approved by the United States Department of Health, Education and Welfare, and shall be known as “Emergency Assistance Grants”.
