As used in sections 650.150 to 650.165, the following terms mean:
(1)“Department”, the department of public safety;
(2)“Director”, the director of the department of public safety;
(3)“Drug laws”, all laws regulating the production, sale, prescribing, manufacturing, administering, transporting, having in possession, dispensing, distributing, or use of controlled substances, as defined in section 195.010;
(4)“Multijurisdictional enforcement group”, or “ MEG”, a combination of political subdivisions established under sections 573.500 1 and 573.503, section 178.653, and section 311.329 to investigate and enforce computer, internet-based, narcotics, and drug violations.
