The court having probate jurisdiction in appointing licensed physicians pursuant to section 632.345 shall choose, if available, physicians who have agreed to serve without fee or physicians paid by any private or public agency, if they are found suitable; provided, that if the court finds no suitable physicians from such sources, the court shall appoint an available licensed physician and he or she shall be paid a reasonable fee, as determined by the court, by the state from funds appropriated to the office of administration for this purpose.
