Any mental health facility accepting a respondent pursuant to section 632.310 shall be furnished a copy of the application for initial detention and evaluation. If a person is involuntarily detained in a mental health facility pursuant to section 632.310, no later than twenty-four hours after his or her arrival, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, the head of the mental health facility shall file with the court the application, a copy of the notice required by section 632.325 and proof that the notice was given. The person's designated attorney shall receive a copy of all documents.
