The superintendent of the Missouri state highway patrol may notify the director of revenue and the director of revenue shall suspend the registration of any vehicle which the superintendent of the Missouri state highway patrol determines, after a written notice, is not equipped as required by law or for which a certificate required by sections 307.350 to 307.390 has not been obtained.
