Missouri Revised Statutes Title XIX. Motor Vehicles, Watercraft and Aviation § 306.113. Operate defined--probable cause required

1. For purposes of sections 306.111 to 306.119,  1 the term “operate” means to physically control the movement of a vessel in motion under mechanical or sail power in water.

2. No arrest shall be made under sections 306.111 to 306.119 1 unless probable cause exists for that arrest.

1 Revisor’s note: Section 306.111 was transferred to section 577.025 and the following sections were repealed by S.B. 491, 2014, effective 1-01-17: 306.112, 306.114, 306.116, 306.117, 306.118, 306.119.
