Sections 227.551 to 227.559 shall be known as the “State Highway Utility Relocation Act”. The commission shall not be required to redesign any project plans or mail additional notices, nor shall the owner of a utility facility be required to submit additional relocation plans or otherwise comply with requirements of sections 227.551 to 227.559 for any construction project on a state highway for which the letting date was prior to December 31, 2005.
