The portion of U.S. Highway 69 in Clay County, beginning from its intersection with Interstate 435, north to its intersection with Interstate 35, shall be designated the “Irvine O. Hockaday, Jr. Highway”. The department of transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs designating such highway, with the costs to be paid for by private donations.
