The portion of U.S. Highway 54 located within a county of the first classification with more than seventy-one thousand three hundred but less than seventy-one thousand four hundred inhabitants from the Highway 179 intersection to a location one mile south of such intersection shall be designated the “Trooper Dennis H. Marriott Memorial Highway”. The costs for such designation shall be paid by the Missouri Troopers' Association.
