The portion of Interstate Highway 44 contained in a county of the second classification with more than fifty-two thousand six hundred but less than fifty-two thousand seven hundred inhabitants, and the portion of U.S. Highway 71 from the intersection of Interstate 44 in the county of the first classification with more than one hundred four thousand six hundred but fewer than one hundred four thousand seven hundred inhabitants south to State Route V in the county of the second classification with more than fifty-two thousand six hundred but fewer than fifty-two thousand seven hundred inhabitants shall be designated as the “George Washington Carver Memorial Highway”.
