The division may, at any time, if it finds the child committed to it is in need of care or treatment other than that which it is equipped to provide, apply to the court which committed such child for an order relieving it of custody of such child. The court must make a determination within ten days and the court shall be vested with full power to make such disposition of the child as is authorized by law, including continued commitment. A copy of the order shall be immediately sent to the director.
