In addition to the remedies provided in sections 196.931 through 196.953, or by law, the attorney general of the state or the prosecuting attorney of any county in which a violation of any provisions of sections 196.931 through 196.953 occurs is authorized to apply to any court of competent jurisdiction for, and the court shall have jurisdiction upon hearing and for cause shown to grant, a temporary or permanent injunction to restrain any person, partnership, corporation, or association from violating any provisions of sections 196.931 through 196.953.
