Every hospital and any health care facility licensed in this state that provides obstetrical services shall offer to all new mothers an opportunity to view with the father and other persons of the mother's choosing a video on the dangers of shaking a baby and shaken baby syndrome before the mother's discharge from the facility. Such video shall be approved by the department of health and senior services.
