Subject to appropriation, the department of higher education and workforce development shall make available a nonrenewable “Advanced Placement Incentive Grant” of five hundred dollars to any student who receives an award under the access Missouri financial assistance program established in sections 173.1101 to 173.1107, or the A+ schools program established under section 160.545, and in addition has received two grades of three or higher on advanced placement examinations in the fields of mathematics or science while attending a Missouri public high school.
