1. The board of curators of the University of Missouri is hereby authorized to develop a school of optometry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The fees charged both resident and nonresident students for attendance at the school of optometry shall be set by the board of curators in accordance with fees established for other health sciences programs within the university system.
2. The annual cost of operating the school, once the school has enrolled a full complement of students, including supplies and an amortization of equipment, beyond such funds that may be available from federal and other nonstate sources, shall be borne equally by the states party to the agreement on a pro rata, per-student basis.
