The board of curators shall appoint annually three of their number to act as an executive board, who shall meet each month for the purpose of auditing claims and attending to such other business as may be entrusted to them by the board of curators not inconsistent with this chapter. The members of the executive board shall receive five dollars per day for each day they shall attend the monthly meetings, together with their actual expenses, to be paid as the expenses of the curators are paid. Said executive board shall be subject to change or removal at pleasure of the board of curators. The board of curators shall also appoint annually three of their number to act as an executive committee of the University of Missouri-Rolla, with like powers and compensation as those of the executive board at Columbia. Said executive committee shall also be subject to change or removal at pleasure of the board of curators.
