Missouri Revised Statutes Title XI. Education and Libraries § 169.022. Board of education in sections 169.020 and 169.021 defined

For the purpose of sections 169.020 and 169.021, as amended, the phrase “board of education” shall with respect to school districts having a population of more than two hundred thousand be deemed to mean and refer to the board of directors of such school district.
