1. Any teacher receiving career pay pursuant to section 163.031 for entitlements authorized under any plan or program established under sections 168.500 to 168.515 shall continue to receive the district base pay to which he would be entitled if he were not receiving the career pay provided for in sections 168.500 to 168.515.
2. Any teacher receiving career pay under any plan or program established under sections 168.500 to 168.515 shall receive any local pay to which teachers with similar training and experience are otherwise entitled.
