1. Whenever, by reason of the extension of the limits of any city or town, such limits extend beyond the boundaries of a seven-director school district, the extension of the limits shall only apply to the boundary limits of the city or town. Seven-director school district boundary lines shall remain the same as before the extension of the limits of the city or town.
2. The provisions of this section shall become effective on August 1, 1984.
