Any term used in sections 145.011 to 145.995 shall have the same meaning as when used in a comparable context in the laws of the United States, unless a different meaning is clearly required by the provisions of sections 145.011 to 145.995. Any reference in sections 145.011 to 145.995 to the Internal Revenue Code 1 or other laws of the United States shall mean the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, and amendments thereto, and other provisions of the laws of the United States, as they may be or become effective, at any time or from time to time.
