Missouri Revised Statutes Title VII. Cities, Towns and Villages § 79.030. Election of officers

An election for the elective officers of each city of the fourth class shall be held after the organization of such city under the provisions of this chapter, and on municipal election days every two years thereafter, except that cities may provide by ordinance that beginning with the election of a collector after January 1, 1990, collectors shall be elected every four years.
