1. Except as provided in section 78.530, the city clerk shall thereupon cause the official ballots to be printed, and upon the ballots the names of the candidates shall be arranged in the order of their vote received at the primary election, and above the names of the candidates shall appear the words “Vote for (number to be elected)”.
2. The ballots shall be in substantially the following form:
Warning: Voting for more than the total number of candidates to be elected to any office will invalidate this ballot.
OFFICIAL BALLOTCandidates for councilmen of ․․․․․․ at general election.
