Missouri Revised Statutes Title VII. Cities, Towns and Villages § 72.132. Signers to state name, address and date when signing petition--time limit on petition

1. Every inhabitant signing such petition shall state his street address or rural post-office box number and route together with the month, day and year on which he affixed his signature thereto.

2. Every such petition shall be presented to the appropriate county commission or county council within two hundred eighty days following the date on which the first signature was affixed to such petition, or any part thereof.  Failure to so present such petition within the foregoing time period shall render such petition absolutely void.
