Missouri Revised Statutes Title VII. Cities, Towns and Villages § 71.570. Street railways--powers of municipality limited

The legislative authority of no incorporated town or city of this state shall have the power to grant to any person or corporation the right to construct and operate on, over or under any street or alley of any incorporated town or city, any elevated, underground or other street railroad without compliance with the conditions named in sections 71.580 and 71.590.
