Board members shall be citizens of the United States and shall reside within the county or city, as the case may be, from which they are appointed. No board member shall receive compensation for performance of duties as a board member. No board member shall be financially interested directly or indirectly in any contract entered into pursuant to sections 67.5000 to 67.5038.
