The township clerk shall be the clerk of the township board of directors, and shall keep a true and correct record of all official acts and proceedings of said board of directors, in a book provided for that purpose at the expense of the township, and to be kept in the office of the township clerk, subject to the inspection of anyone desiring so to do, under the direction of the township clerk.
