In all cases where the county surveyor shall have, at his own expense, obtained a certified copy, as provided for in section 60.195, the county commission shall make a reasonable allowance to such surveyor for such copy, which shall thereafter become the property of the county, and be filed; except that no county surveyor thus furnished with the field notes shall, when called upon to execute any survey, make any additional charge therefor.
