It shall be the duty of the recorder of deeds in each county of the second class and the recorder of deeds in each county of the third class wherein the office is separate from the office of circuit clerk to furnish the assessor, on or before the fifteenth day of each month, a list of all real estate mortgages or deeds of trust recorded during the preceding month. The list shall contain the name of the grantor, a brief description of the real estate and the amount of the mortgage or deed of trust.
