Beginning at the northwest corner of New Madrid County, on the line dividing ranges twelve and thirteen east, as established in section 46.121; thence south with the range line to the center of township twenty-three, north, range twelve, east; thence west to the St. Francis River; thence up the middle of the main channel of the St. Francis River to the point where the section line dividing sections one and twelve in township twenty-six, range seven, east, crosses the same; thence east to the range line dividing ranges seven and eight, east; thence north with said range line to township line dividing township twenty-six and twenty-seven; thence east with the township line to the southwest corner of section thirty-two, in township twenty-seven, north, range eight, east; thence north with the section line to the northwest corner of section twenty-nine, in said township and range; thence east with the section line to the northeast corner of said section; thence north with the section line to the northwest corner of section twenty-one, in said township and range; thence east with the section line to the northeast corner of said section; thence north with the section line to the northwest corner of section fifteen, in said township and range; thence east with the section line to the northeast corner of said section; thence with the section line to the northwest corner of section eleven, in said township and range; thence east with the section line to the northeast corner of said section; thence north with the section line to the township line between townships twenty-seven and twenty-eight, north; thence east with said township line to the northeast corner of township twenty-seven, north, range eight, east; thence east and north with the southern boundary of Bollinger County, as established by law, to the southwest corner of Cape Girardeau County; thence east with the southern boundary of Cape Girardeau County to a point where it intersects the western boundary of Scott County; thence south with the western boundary of Scott County to the northern boundary of New Madrid County, continuing thence west and south with the said boundary of New Madrid County to the place of beginning.
