The office of air search and rescue may, with the consent of the adjutant general, accept and expend any grant of funds as appropriated by the general assembly, and may accept services, equipment, supplies or materials by way of gift, grant or loan for the purposes of encouraging the development of aeronautical resources of the state, for aiding in an educational program related to aviation, and for supporting the program of air search and rescue.
