As total compensation for all duties to be performed by them, the governor shall receive an annual salary of seventy-five thousand dollars plus any salary adjustment provided pursuant to section 105.005, 1 and the lieutenant governor shall receive an annual salary of forty-five thousand dollars plus any salary adjustment provided pursuant to section 105.005. The salaries shall be paid at the times and in the manner provided by law.
