Missouri Revised Statutes Title III. Legislative Branch § 21.040. Members of either house may be punished for contempt

Any member of either house who is guilty of disorderly behavior in the presence of a joint meeting may be punished by the house of which he is a member, in the same manner as if the offense were committed in the presence of the house.
