Any person that proposes to construct or operate an interstate natural gas pipeline and that has power to acquire an easement or right-of-way agreement for that pipeline by an action in eminent domain under the authority of the federal Natural Gas Act, United States Code, title 15, chapter 15B, 1shall not be required to comply with the provisions ofsections 216G.02to216G.05as a condition of acquiring the easement, right-of-way, or route.
