The provisions of Laws 1981, chapter 333, sections 1 to 17 1shall not be construed as prohibiting, or in any way limiting, or interfering with the right of any governmental subdivision of the state to regulate or license precious metal dealers within its jurisdiction in a manner more restrictive than Laws 1981, chapter 333, sections 1 to 17; provided, that transactions described insection 325F.732, subdivision 2, shall not be regulated in a manner inconsistent with Laws 1981, chapter 333, sections 1 to 17.
