The provisions ofsections 325E.061to325E.065are effective April 14, 1988, and apply to all dealership agreements now in effect which have no expiration date and which are continuing contracts, and all other contracts entered into, amended, or renewed after April 14, 1988. Any contract in force and effect on April 14, 1988, which by its terms will terminate on a date subsequent thereto and which is not renewed is governed by the law as it existed before April 14, 1988.
