Minnesota Statutes Telecommunications (Ch. 237, 238) § 237.02. General authority of department and commission; definitions

The Department of Commerce and the Public Utilities Commission are hereby vested with the same jurisdiction and supervisory power over telephone and telecommunications companies doing business in this state as the commission's predecessor, the railroad and warehouse commission, had over railroad and express companies. The definitions set forth insections 216A.02and216B.02also apply to this chapter.
