Minnesota Statutes Public Welfare and Related Activities (Ch. 245-267) § 245.477. Appeals

Any adult who requests mental health services undersections 245.461to245.486must be advised of services available and the right to appeal at the time of the request and each time the individual community support plan or individual treatment plan is reviewed. Any adult whose request for mental health services undersections 245.461to245.486is denied, not acted upon with reasonable promptness, or whose services are suspended, reduced, or terminated by action or inaction for which the county board is responsible undersections 245.461to245.486may contest that action or inaction before the state agency as specified insection 256.045. The commissioner shall monitor the nature and frequency of administrative appeals under this section.
