The commissioner of children, youth, and families shall implement simplified reporting as permitted under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008, as amended, 1and the SNAP regulations inCode of Federal Regulations, title 7, part 273. SNAP benefit recipient households required to report periodically shall not be required to report more often than one time every six months. This provision shall not apply to households receiving food benefits under the Minnesota family investment program waiver.
