Subdivision 1. Authorization. A political subdivision may provide interstate assistance pursuant tosection 192.89.
Subd. 2. Liability. Employees or officers of a political subdivision providing assistance undersection 192.89are “employees of the state” as described insection 3.736.
Subd. 3. Limitation. When providing assistance undersection 192.89, a political subdivision or its officers or employees are not liable for any act or omission made in good faith or for the maintenance or use of any equipment or supplies used in connection with the assistance. “Good faith” does not include willful misconduct, gross negligence, or recklessness.
