The adjutant general may activate members to serve as an honor guard at the funeral of any person who served in the Minnesota National Guard and who was: (1) honorably discharged after serving six or more years, or (2) in active service. Members activated for service as honor guards must be paid at the rate provided insection 192.49, subdivision 1or2.
