section 473.859 Except as provided in the metropolitan system statement, comprehensive plans of towns shall include the matters specified insection 473.859.
Subd. 2. Plan preparation. Each town within the counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Scott, and Washington, authorized to plan undersections 462.351to462.364, or under special law, shall by resolution determine whether it will prepare the comprehensive plan for its jurisdiction. Each such town also shall specify, pursuant to agreement with the county within which it is situated, any parts of its plan and official controls, if any, the preparation of which it delegates to the county.
Subd. 3. Use county. Towns within counties which have adopted comprehensive plans applicable to the town shall, to the maximum extent, use county preparation of their comprehensive plans.
