Subdivision 1. Liability.Any insurer, insurance agent, or insurance-support organization that violatessections 72A.49to72A.505is liable to the aggrieved person for that violation to the same extent as civil remedies are otherwise allowed insection 13.08, subdivision 1, for violations of chapter 13, by a political subdivision, responsible authority, statewide system, or statewide agency.
Subd. 2. Equitable relief.Upon application by an aggrieved person, a court of competent jurisdiction may grant equitable and declaratory relief as necessary to enforce the requirements ofsections 72A.49to72A.505.
