Subdivision 1. Qualified plan. A high deductible health plan shall be deemed a qualified plan undersections 62E.06and62E.12. The plan must meet all other requirements of state law except those that are inconsistent with a high deductible health plan as defined insections 220and223 of the Internal Revenue Codeand supporting regulations.
Subd. 2. Authorization. Notwithstanding any other law of this state, any health plan company defined insection 62Q.01, subdivision 4, is permitted to offer high deductible health plans.
