Subdivision 1. Repealed byLaws 2020, c. 79, art. 2, § 26, eff. Aug. 1, 2020.
Subd. 2. Persons certified by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. The board may license any person certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy as an occupational therapist if the board determines the requirements for certification are equivalent to or exceed the requirements for licensure as an occupational therapist undersection 148.6408. The board may license any person certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy as an occupational therapy assistant if the board determines the requirements for certification are equivalent to or exceed the requirements for licensure as an occupational therapy assistant undersection 148.6410. Nothing in this section limits the board's authority to deny licensure based upon the grounds for discipline insections 148.6401to148.6449.
Subd. 3. Application procedures. Applicants for licensure by equivalency must provide:
(1) the application materials as required bysection 148.6420, subdivisions 1, 3, and4; and
(2) the fees required bysection 148.6445.
