Sections 148.511to148.5198apply to persons who are applicants for licensure, who use protected titles, who represent that they are licensed, or who engage in the practice of speech-language pathology or audiology or practice as a speech-language pathology assistant.Sections 148.511to148.5198do not apply to school personnel licensed by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board and practicing within the scope of their school license underMinnesota Rules, part 8710.6000, or the paraprofessionals who assist these individuals.
