Subdivision 1. Application. The words defined in this section for purposes of this chapter have the meanings given them unless the context clearly requires otherwise.
Subd. 1a. Council of Health Boards. “Council of Health Boards” means a collaborative body established by the health-related licensing boards.
Subd. 2. Health-related licensing board. “Health-related licensing board” means the Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports established pursuant tosection 144A.19, the Office of Unlicensed Complementary and Alternative Health Care Practice established pursuant tosection 146A.02, the Board of Medical Practice created pursuant tosection 147.01, the Board of Nursing created pursuant tosection 148.181, the Board of Chiropractic Examiners established pursuant tosection 148.02, the Board of Optometry established pursuant tosection 148.52, the Board of Occupational Therapy Practice established pursuant tosection 148.6449, the Board of Physical Therapy established pursuant tosection 148.67, the Board of Psychology established pursuant tosection 148.90, the Board of Social Work pursuant tosection 148E.025, the Board of Marriage and Family Therapy pursuant tosection 148B.30, the Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy established bysection 148B.51, the Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice established undersection 148.622, the Board of Dentistry established pursuant tosection 150A.02, the Board of Pharmacy established pursuant tosection 151.02, the Board of Podiatric Medicine established pursuant tosection 153.02, and the Board of Veterinary Medicine established pursuant tosection 156.01.
Subd. 3. Non-health-related licensing board. “Non-health-related licensing board” means the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board established pursuant tosection 122A.07, the Board of Barber Examiners established pursuant tosection 154.001, the Board of Cosmetologist Examiners established pursuant tosection 155A.20, the Board of Assessors established pursuant tosection 270.41, the Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design established pursuant tosection 326.04, the Private Detective and Protective Agent Licensing Board established pursuant tosection 326.33, the Board of Accountancy established pursuant tosection 326A.02, and the Peace Officer Standards and Training Board established pursuant tosection 626.841.
