Minnesota Statutes Counties, County Officers, Regional Authorities (Ch. 370-403) § 383E.23. Library tax

The Anoka County Board may levy a tax of not more than .01 percent of the estimated market value of taxable property located within the county excluding any taxable property taxed by any city for the support of any free public library, to acquire, better, and construct county library buildings and to pay principal and interest on bonds issued for that purpose. The tax shall be disregarded in the calculation of levies or limits on levies provided bysection 373.40, or other law.
