Subdivision 1.Adoption of county manager plan. Provided that it meets the requirements ofsection 375A.01, subdivision 2, the county board of Dakota County may adopt by resolution the county manager plan described insection 375A.03, subdivisions 1,2,3, and4, paragraph (a), and375A.04, subdivision 1.Section 375A.12does not apply to the adoption of the county manager plan under this subdivision.
Subd. 2.Effect on other laws. If Dakota County adopts the county manager plan as provided in subdivision 1, all references to the county administrator in chapter 383D shall be deemed to refer to the county manager,section 383D.153shall be preempted, andsections 383D.09and383D.21to383D.35shall not be preempted.
