County commissioners of St. Louis County are hereby authorized to pay themselves when they submit a certified claim to the board, for the use of their privately owned cars used in county business at the rate permitted by law, from the road and bridge fund of their respective districts, and said payments shall be over and above their general expenses for county business authorized bysection 383C.58.
